Question:
Norm,I love your show and wish I had even a forth that much equipment and space. I don't unfortunately and that is part of the problem. How is the best way to cut crown moulding when you don't have a chop saw? I've tried the table saw and the published charts for the angles. Those didn't turn out well at all. I have used my radial saw but it was difficult to hold the work at 45deg tilt, even with a scrap piece of wood backing it. I think I need a Norm Super Duper Jig for this. Have you made any? Thanks,Dan K.Houston, TX

Answer:
You can see Norm cut crown moulding on the bookcase project...perhaps that will help... # 108...The Radial arm saw should work. Provide a fence high enough to lay up the moulding (that becomes the wall) and the saw table (becomes the ceiling) Remember to hold the piece upside down as you cut the 45.Good luck
