Hi Norm, I've seen several demonstrations (on your show and elsewhere) of how to cut a "perfectly centered" groove in a piece of work on the table saw simply by flipping the piece over and cutting from the other side. What this doesn't guarantee is a specific width of cut or how to make a tenon to fit it. Any suggestions ?

True enough..The method we use centers the groove. We always make it before forming the tenon. That way they always can be fitted. |
