Question:
Really enjoy your show - my TiVo gets them all. I noticed that when you are cutting rails, you will pass the board throught the table saw in both directions to ensure that the grove is centered. Doesn't this then make the grove wider than what the dado is set for?Thx in advance. JB Morrow Grayslake, IL
Answer:
Yes, it is possible that the groove would be slightly wider than what is set. But we always make the groove before we make the tenon or the panel. That way they always can be fitted. Once we have the groove centered we calculate the width of the tenon and proceed. |
