Question: hi norm:every saturday of my life i watch your progam along with this old house.norm, i saw you make a bandsaw circle cutting jig a while back. i know how to make it but i forgot how you tightened the pin for various diameter cirlces. i know you cut a slot for the pin and a larger slot for the head of the bolt but i dont remember how you got it to tighten. i would appreciate if you could email me with the answer.thanks and keep up the good work.toolwood Answer: Insert the bolt from the underside of the jig into the nut which lies in the dado above and tighten as necessary from underneath. |
