Question:
Hi Norm,I have watched and totally enjoyed your show for several years and now have my own heated work shop which i can put a lot of your ideas to use.Its a great hobby and a place to take your mind off everything else. My question is this. Do you have available or know where I could find a jig for use with a router that would make the spiral on a table leg? These particular legs are 2 3/4" square and are 16" and 24" long. I have had an Amish friend turn the legs round and now want to put a spiral or rope effect in them the full length. I understand there might be a jig available that can have a normal router attached to it that will turn the leg and move the router down at the same time. Please let me know if your aware of anything like this. Thankyou, Nolan Wopat. Portage, WI.
Answer:
Years ago we did a story using a router mill by Phantom Engineering. Google them up and see if thats what you want.Good luck |
