English Garden Bench - Item #212

This is an Oak bench I made for my oldest son last Christmas, 2001. It has mortise and tenon, pinned construction. The angled back pieces were tricky, but watching NYWS helped. I finished the bench with three coats of a 50% mixture of, Spar Varnish and Antique Oil, lightly sanded between coats. The bench is to be used outside, however it has not been used there to date.
