Shaker Step Stools - Item #301

Here is my version of one of the step stools that Norm built. I wanted a chance to practice making box joints since I've seen Norm use them so often. My next project is a Morris chair and I also wanted to practice making mortise and tenons so the stretchers are almost exactly like the slats used for the sides of the Morris chair. I've made eight of these so far and finally got to keep one for myself. I have learned a lot from Norm and try not to miss an episode of The New Yankee Workshop.
