Like many of us I had time on my hands in the summer of 2020. I had never built anything before but had watched many of Norms videos and thought I could do that. My father dabbled in woodworking and had many of the basic tools needed for the project. He was in the hospital and wasn’t doing well. I used his tools and Zoom to show him my progress and ask for advice. I hoped that it may encourage him to feel better and get out of the hospital so we could work on the project together. But it was not meant to be, his heart that had been slowing for the past several months gave out and he passed. He was 80. He still had so much more to teach me and think of him daily. I finished the trio. I was very proud to have used his tools to make my very first real project Adirondack trio.
