I decided to make my version of the Outdoor Garden Table out of Alaskan Yellow Cedar instead of teak. I had a nice couple of boards of that on hand; it has good rot resistance; it is much lighter than teak, which was an advantage since my table has to be moved around a lot. I applied a finish of traditional spar varnish. I’m pleased with how it came out. The support at NYW was phenomenal!
